To apply payments from a customer choose AR- Receivable Transactions.  The plus will immediately start a new receivable transaction.  By selecting Receivables Transactions the user can see all transactions - both open and closed.

Add A New Cash Receipt

Choose Cash Receipt and choose a customer.  When selecting a customer all invoices for customer sites, also called Ship Tos, will be displayed.


Enter the check number and the check amount



As needed the user can also enter a check date to track when customers sent payment



Manually Apply To Open Invoices


To apply payment to an invoice double click the displayed amount.  The amount remaining will update as payment is applied.  The new balance for each invoice will update as well.



Auto Apply To Open Invoices

To automatically apply payments click the orange Auto Apply button.  Payments will be applied to oldest invoices first. A balance, if applicable, will remain on the final invoice.



Saving Receipt


Once all applications are complete click Save.  This applies the credit to the selected invoice(s) and updated the amount due.


Edit A Receipt

A user can save a receipt entry and return to it at a later time.  After the receipt has been started choose save, in blue.  The user will return to the main screen where Edit/Apply or Void can be selected.
