Bin locations must be created in cooler setup. This will include the wharf, pasteurization rooms, and finally the fruiting chamber.

Wharf Bin

Typically this will be a bin called Wharf. This can be in the entire cooler for manufacturing, or can be a cooler, aisle, bay, and shelf, with one single wharf bin if the location has a single wharf, or multiple wharf locations.  This bin is used to create the initial compost, referred to as Phase I,  that is loaded into pasteurization.

Pasteurization Bin

The pasteurization bin is the bin that defines the rooms where compost is pasteurized, or Phase II of the process. These bins have a unique attribute in Sprout that helps automate future processes.

When creating a pasteurization bin you must check “Pzn Dest” during setup or by editing an existing bin.

Most operations have multiple pasteurization bins.  When compost is pasteurized the system shows the user bins tagged as Pzn Dest to send the WIP to.
