Production Stations in Sprout are where recipes are made to produce a finished good or a WIP.  In the case of mushroom building, the system will likely have a Compost Wharf production station and a Pasteurization Production Station

Compost Station

The compost station is where the Phase I compost production takes place. Once the compost WIP is created it eventually moves into pasteurization.

Compost Station Attribute

When creating the wharf bin the user can set different bin attributes. All attributes are described in other sections for bin setup, however the two attributes below are the most commonly used.

  • Source Bin: This is the bin that recipe components come from. This is not typically used, but can be if components are staged prior to creation
  • Destination Bin: This is the bin that the finished WIP is placed in. This is typically the Supplemental Bin, or similar, on the wharf.

Pasteurization Station

When the Pasteurized WIP recipe is created it is typically done at a station named pasteurization or similar.

Pasteurization Station Attributes

Similar to the compost station, the pasteurization station has special attributes that should be configured.

  • Source Bin: The source bin is typically the compost station's destination bin.  This tells the system where to get the WIP from to create the pasteurized WIP
  • Destination Bin: [NOT SURE YET]
