Customers in Sprout are setup as a customer and a customer site. The customer is the billing entity.  The customer can have multiple delivery points, such as a franchise restaurant or a grocery chain with twenty locations, but receiives the bills to one central location.  Customers should never be different legal entities.

The customer site is the only entry that can accept an actual order.  This is a delivery point, sometimes referred to as a ship to.  

Attributes, such as price level, automatically match the customer entry, but can be overridden at the customer site level.
