Sales orders represent the starting point of the sales process in Sprout. A sales order records the items a customer has requested, including quantities, pricing, delivery details, and other order information.

Sales orders can be entered manually by users or automatically imported through electronic integrations such as EDI or CSV imports.

Once created, sales orders flow through several stages including routing, inventory allocation, delivery, and billing.
