Control Books are used to create structured order guides for customers. They define which items a customer can order, along with the pricing and ordering information used during order entry.

Control Books serve two primary purposes:

  • Creating a printable order guide that customers can use to place orders.
  • Providing a predefined item list when entering orders in Sprout, making phone or manual order entry faster and more accurate.

A Control Book typically contains a list of items, optional flags, and pricing information that is shared by one or more customers.
