The cost base in Sprout is the starting number all sell prices are calculated from. Sprout has an unlimited number of cost bases and can be copied from one to another to create more complex pricing routines..  Sprout comes with COST1 to COST5.  Users can edit the names and descriptions to make them more descriptive.  Unused cost bases can be deleted and additional ones can be added as needed.
