Bin Sales Process

Bin sales, sometimes referred to as jobber sales, is a process to sell items, often at a reduced cost, that are not part of the regular inventory.  This is often used for walk up sales.  Items must be in the defined bin to show up in the bin sales tool

Configuring Default Bin Sales Bin

To use bin sales, the sales bin sales default bin must be configured.  This is under System - Company Site.  Scroll down to the default bins and select the appropriate bin

Entering a Sales Order

To enter an order using the Bin Sales tool start the order like normal and then choose the Bin Sales tab

Only items in the configured bin will show up by default.  Other bins can be choose as needed.  When the user enters the quantity and price for the item(s) being purchsed those items are immediately added to the sales order and the lot(s) in the selected bin are allocated.
