Dashboard

Overview

The pack assignment dashboard is the hub for viewing ordered items and assigning them to be packed at production tables. It can be accessed by going to IC in the Navbar and selecting Assignment Dashboard. The dashboard is split into three tabs - the Spreadsheet, Pre-Pack, and Production tables tab.

Spreadsheet Tab

The spreadsheet tab contains three tables for displaying sales order line items. These tables displayed from left to right are the Group and Size Combinations, Group Details, and Item Summary.

  • Group and Size Combinations: This table displays the quantity of the items ordered broken down by each group and size. Clicking a row in this table will show more information about that group and size in the Group Details table.
  • Group Details: This table displays all the items in the selected group and size and the quantity ordered per item. Clicking a row in this table will show the item broken down by sales orders in the Item Summary.
  • Item Summary: This table displays the selected item broken down by sales order. It includes a link to the order, the date, the customer site, and the quantity ordered. If any assignments have been made then it will also display which production table the item has been assigned to.

Making Assignments

Selecting Items

Items can be selected from each of the three tables. Check the checkbox of the corresponding row to select that group, item, or line item. Checking the checkbox for a row in the Group and Size table selects every item in that group. Similarly, checking the checkbox in the Group Details table selects all sales order line items that match that item.

Assigning Items to Production Tables

To assign items to production tables, click the Quick Assign button. This will show a dropdown which lists all production tables. Select the production table to assign all selected items to that table.

Displayed Assignments

Once assignments have been made, the summary tables are updated to indicate what has been assigned and what hasn't. In the Group and Size and the Group Details tables, rows that have not been fully assigned to production tables are highlighted in yellow. In other words, if the # of units assigned for that group or item does not meet the # of units ordered, it will be yellow indicating that some assignments still need to be made. If the row has been fully assigned the background will not be highlighted.

In the item summary if a line item is assigned to a production table then the table name will be displayed in the Assignments column.

Hiding Assigned Items

Some users may prefer to remove assigned items from these tables altogether. If you would like to only see items that still need to be assigned to tables, uncheck the Include Assigned checkbox above the summary tables, next to the Quick Assign button.

Pre-Pack Tab

The pre-pack tab allows you to assign work to a production table without it being tied to a sales order. If you want a production table to pack an item, simply search for that item, enter the quantity for that table to pack, and assign it to that table with the Assign button dropdown. When these items are packed they will be put into stock, allowing them to be used on later orders.

Production Tables Tab

The production tables tab provides an overview of the production tables for the selected company site and the work that has been assigned to them. Each production table is shown and any pack assignments that have been created and assigned to that table will be displayed.

Pack Assignment Status

The status of each pack assignment is also displayed with the production table. A pack assignment has three possible statuses: assigned, building, and completed.

  • Assigned: The item has been assigned to the production table but work has not started on it yet.
  • Building: Workers have begun packing this item but have not finished it.
  • Completed: This item has been packed and the production table is totally finished working on it. Once a pack assignment is complete it will no longer show on a production table.

Removing Pack Assignments

Pack assignments that have not been not been started (do not have the building or completed) status can be removed. To remove a pack assignment select the item by checking the checkbox next to the item name. Then click the Remove Assignment button.

Changing Production Tables

To move a pack assignment to a different production table, select the assignment and click the Change Table dropdown button. Then select the table to move the assignment to.

Note that when assignments from different orders are built together, they are bound together. This means that if you move a pack assignment that is bound to other assignments, they are all going to be moved.
