Receiving Labels
When a purchase order is received, receiving labels can be printed. These labels are scanned when a pack assignment is being built to allocate product to a new packed item.
Printing Receiving Labels
Receiving labels can only be printed after a purchase order is received. Receiving label printing can be done from two places.
- On the page where the purchase order is received, the button Print Receiving Labels will take you to the page for printing receiving labels.
- On the Edit Purchase Order page, the same button is provided that will take you to the page for printing receiving labels.
Receiving Lot
The lot number on the receiving label is made up of the vendor code and the lot number created by Sprout. Sprout will create a lot number for line items when the purchase order is received. The vendor code must be added in Vendors.
Vendor Code
The vendor code is a two-character abbreviation for the vendor. Add the vendor code by going to AP > Vendors. Click Edit for the vendor that needs a vendor code. The vendor code input is located on the main tab of this page.
Receiving Label Weight
The weight on the receiving label is calculated by dividing the quantity ordered of the line item on the sales order by the quantity received.
Print Quantity
By default, one label will be printed for each purchase order line item. However, this can be changed to as many as the user needs to print.
